Safe Space Delaware
Safe Space Delaware is a 1 to 2 day cultural competency training that provides educators, administrators, parents, and youth leaders with the tools they need to provide a safe space for LGBTQ youth. After receiving this training, participants will:

Know how to form a Gay-Straight Alliance and other support structures for LGBTQ youth.
Receive materials that help identify you as a safe space for LGBTQ youth.
Join a collaborative partnership with J.U.S.T. and receive consistent support in your efforts!
Sensitivity - having acute mental or emotional sensibility; aware of and responsive to the feelings of others.
Cultural Competency - a set of congruent behaviors, attitudes, structures, and policies that come together to work effectively in intercultural situations. That set of behaviors can be adopted and practiced by a solitary professional or an entire organization.
